Safety

What gets checked, and how often.

In short

TunisiaRide applies four verifiable measures: drivers holding a passenger transport authorisation, vehicles insured for third-party and passenger cover, periodic technical inspection under Tunisian regulations, and approved child seats provided at no extra charge.

On the road

Driving hours are capped, and multi-day circuits include real rest periods between legs. A tired driver is a risk, not a saving.

On southern itineraries with unsurfaced sections, the assigned vehicle is suitable and the driver has already run the route. TunisiaRide will turn down a request rather than send a sedan onto a track.

In the event of an incident or breakdown, a replacement vehicle is dispatched and you are informed immediately with a time estimate — not left waiting without news.

Frequently asked questions

Are the vehicles insured for passengers?

Yes. All TunisiaRide vehicles carry third-party liability and transported-passenger cover, in line with Tunisian passenger transport regulations.

Are child seats provided?

Yes, at no extra charge. Approved infant seats, child seats and boosters are fitted before you arrive, provided each child's age and weight is given at booking.

What happens if the vehicle breaks down?

A replacement is dispatched and you are told immediately with a time estimate. On an airport-bound transfer, TunisiaRide takes the fastest option even where it costs the company more.
